President Boakai Nominates New Director General for the LDEA!!

Monrovia, Liberia:
President Joseph Boakai has nominated Mr. Anthony Suoh as the new Director General of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), pending Senate confirmation.

This announcement follows the dismissal of Colonel Abraham Kromah, Mr. Hassan Fadiga, and Mr. Gbawou Kowou from their leadership positions due to findings from a Ministry of Justice investigation into chaotic events at the LDEA headquarters on June 3, 2024.

President Boakai condemned the disorder, stating it jeopardized public peace and weakened efforts against illicit drugs. He called on government officials to maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism in their service.
