Liberia Signs $3 Billion Oil Refinery Deal and Secures $100M for Road Development
at FOCAC in Beijing!

Beijing, China – September 6, 2024!
On the sidelines of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), Liberia has signed a $100 million agreement to finance road and infrastructure development.

In a separate deal, the country also secured a $3 billion Memorandum of Commitment for the construction of an oil refinery in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

Both agreements mark significant steps in strengthening Liberia’s infrastructure and economic development efforts.

President Boakai and his entourage are currently in China, still advocating on behalf of Liberia, that’s according to E-mansion Press.
